La Cotte de St. Brelade is an amazing archeological site, where archeologists have discovered both human and animal remains. La Cotte de St. Brelade is one of the best preserved records of neanderthal life in the world.

Bone heaps had been discovered piled against a wall and seemed to have been piled purposefully as some were arranged vertically. One of the bones (a mammoth skull) had a rib bone deliberately driven into it, which was unique to the site.
